On New Year's Eve I drove all the way from Greenfield to Kenosha to purchase a large perch, and I could not have been happier. Not only was this the only bird shop that was open on this day, but this was the only shop within a 50 mile radius that had the perch I was looking for. The store owner was very helpful and polite. I felt welcomed and I did not feel rushed at all to buy something, but I left spending over $350 and I was very satisfied with my purchase. I will not hesitate to make another trip down to Kenosha just to check out Jo's Exotic Birds.

I have been coming to Jo's for the last 16 years and absolutely love it! They have the kindest people, very reasonable prices, the largest selection of cages/toys/food you'll find, and a wealth of knowledge. My parrot and I couldn't be happier with this local business! 💖

Traveled 66 miles to get to Jo's, and it was well worth the trip! In my opinion, their prices are very reasonable. I love the huge selection of parrot toys and other supplies. We found the perfect cage for our African Grey (which was the reason for our journey). The woman there helped us break down the cage so it would fit in my car. She and the owner, Rich, went above and beyond to help us! We were very impressed with our shopping experience and the excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back and I'll absolutely recommend Jo's to others.

This is my favorite store of all time. I purchase something usable almost every time I shop here. They ensure non-harmful gear sourced by brands built by bird owners and those who love pets. They have some niche gear, too. Nice nets, nice hanging toys. Several cases that sell out very fast. I enjoy spending even a few minutes here if I'm nearby. Staff is friendly and will answer questions from the perspective of long time parrot owners (all of them are!)! Walter is a friend-- (be sure to wave)!
